The Gulfport Coach House

Welcome to The Gulfport Coach House, located steps from the beach and two short blocks from downtown Gulfport. Gulfport is a unique "Old Florida Community" on the Southern tip of St. Petersburg. Unlike many other developed areas, Gulfport has kept many of its early homes and colorful cottages, and has established itself as a quaint Artist's Community. The Public Beach area across the street from The Coach House has continuous public events ranging from Sunrise Church Services to afternoon Salsa dancing. The area has an uncommon amount of birds, including large flocks of black-hooded and monk parakeets in the hundreds, which are often seen flying by. On occasion Great White Pelicans glide overhead, and not to forget our more local friends; storks, herons, egrets and seagulls.

The Coach House's offers one bedroom with a queen size bed and another with twin beds. There is additional sleeping with a double size pull-out sleeper sofa and 2 single size daybeds on the porch. The house has central heat and air conditioning through out.

The Coach House decor is brightly colored and friendly in a Key West style. The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator, glass top stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender and toaster. The living room offers cable TV, VCR and CD Player and a PC for internet access (dialup to your provider, Eg Aol). For the energetic there are 2 bicycles at your disposal. Please note that we also have available a fully equipped efficiency of about 500 sq ft in the rear of this building. Rent $1050/month for two person occupancy.
