This is a perfect area for kids and adults alike, situated in a quiet neighborhood close to beaches, shops for all your needs, a variety of restaurants, galleries, and picturesque downtown historic Sandwich (est. 1637). There is lots to explore including the Sandwich Glass Museum, Thorton Burgess Museum, Greenbriar Nature Center (home of Peter Rabbit), and Heritage Gardens. Excellent fishing, golf, and boat charters are minutes away. Kayaking, canoeing, and biking along the canal are favorite activities, as well as day trips to the National Seashore, Cape Cod winery, Wellfleet Drive-in, Provincetown, and ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.
